lay可以用作動詞
lay的基本意思是“放置成水平位置”。可譯為“放,擱,擺”“壓倒,放倒”“鋪設(shè),敷設(shè)”等,引申可指“安排”“布置”“擬定”“提出”等。用作及物動詞時,可接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可接“(to be+) adj./v -ed”充當補足語的復(fù)合賓語。
lay作“產(chǎn)卵”解時,可用作及物動詞,也可省去賓語(通常為eggs)而用作不及物動詞。
