在我的家里，住著爸爸、媽媽、姥姥、姥爺和我。

我的姥姥今年61歲，姥爺今年62歲，別看他們平時衣著鮮艷，其實他們是一對艱苦樸素的老人。在家里，吃剩的飯菜、穿舊的襪子，他們都舍不得扔。有時一枝用的很短的鉛筆扔掉，他們就會說：“鉛筆削削還能用。”于是就撿了回來。我從他們身上學到了勤儉節約的好習慣。

我的媽媽今年31歲，很年輕，是一位工程師。爸爸今年39歲，是公司總經理。他們不但對姥姥、姥爺很孝順，對工作也很負責。

有一次，姥姥生病了，而且爸爸、媽媽的單位又有領導來檢查工作，沒辦法，只好先上班，等領導檢查完，馬上回來領姥姥去看病。爸爸、媽媽一有時間，就帶我去外地旅游。我的爸爸、媽媽就是這兩個既尊敬老人、有熱愛工作的好父母。

我今年8歲，是一名小學生，雖然我不能做飯、洗衣服等，但是一些家務我也能做。媽媽總說我是一個好孩子，我為生活在這樣的家里感到幸福。
